Abstract:Several opinions on further deepening the reform of the electric power system(No.2015[9]) which launched a new round of reform, had illustrated the requirement of the electricity market reform. In the process of promoting the reform of electric power market, Guizhou Electricitytradingcenter created the power transaction index firstly in the country, which was based on the trading information of the key industries and market price of their productions and electricity consumption of the production to explore the inner link of power exchange and the operation of the industrial economy, providing reference for the government economic operation decision making. Firstly, it introduces the research background of electric power transaction index. Secondly, based on the actual data of Guizhou province''s industrial operation and the massive data of electric power transaction, the power transaction index system with one main index and four branch indexes is designed with "big data" concept. Finally, combined with the calculation and analysis of power trading index in Guizhou province in 2016 by some key industries and power trading data, this paper explored the power exchange index effect on industrial economic operation and the reference value to the government decision-making.
